A Label by any other Name:
We call them camp Iron On Label, but they seem to go by many other names. Some people call them; name labels, personalized labels or personalized clothing labels, others camp labels, you might even call it an iron on name tag, or a camp name tag or go all out and call it a name tag label for clothing. Though I feel like a tag is something you place on the front of your shirt that says "hello my name is". You might even just call it a camp label, but i think that is a bit vague. If you did a google search you might have way to much to choose from and none of it useful. Another vague one is laundry label. A laundry label is the label that gives you the washing instructions, not the name of your child,
Something we're not:
If you are looking for a woven name label, you are most likely looking for
something that your child's name is embroidered on.
We are also not a cotton Iron on label for camp. We are cool with that, cotton
tends to be thicker and more costly. I don't see many cotton label suppliers of
late. But if you really want cotton give us a call and we'll track some down for
you.
Our labels are a polyester fabric name label for camp.
Are we different from a name tape?
Maybe you think you want a nametape or a cash's name tape. What is the difference? Name tapes usually come on a roll that have to be cut or if they were already cut then they have square corners. Our name labels (again another way of saying Iron-on labels) are pre-cut with rounded corners they come on a perforated sheet that you just peel the label off. We have found that the rounded corners prevent peeling. So unless you are dead set on name tapes for camp, we recommend The camp iron on labels with the rounded corners.
To Sew or not to Sew.
An Iron - on Label can be sewn but a camp Sew on label can't be ironed. In the days of old the Iron on labels fabric was thick and the adhesive was thick and hard, it made it difficult to push a needle through. This is no longer the case. The fabric and adhesive are both very thin, so if you want to sew on the iron on label that is fine. Though I don't recommend trying to iron on a sew on clothing labels.
Not Just For Camp
Go to a camp lost and found and you will find a
box full of clothing and stuff, got to a SCHOOL lost and found and
you will find a ROOM full of clothing and personal belongings.
Kids loose their property all year long. What's more, is that during school they
loose things in more places, at school, the mall, the movies, at friends houses,
Aunt Jen's, Grandma Sara's.
Make sure to keep all the stuff that you have bought for your children for the
school year. Label it! Sticker it! Tag it!
Want more options??
Maybe you don't want to sew or Iron. If that is the case we have some other top secret options. If you want to know about them you can email us at orders@label-land.com.
I also wanted to take this moment to give a plug for www.medids.com . If you need medical ID products they are the place to go.
